Shaped by District 70
We are excited to introduce Shaped by District 70, a new alumni storytelling feature that highlights the long-term impact of our schools through the journeys of our graduates.
This series will showcase alumni from across generations and pathways whose positive experiences in District 70 helped shape who they are today. By sharing these stories, we strengthen community connections, reflect a broad definition of success, and demonstrate the lasting value of the work happening in our schools every day.
We are asking for your help in identifying alumni stories for consideration. Submissions may be shared by staff, alumni, families, or community members, and self-nominations are welcome.
Stories may include graduates who pursued education, skilled trades, military service, public service, entrepreneurship, the arts, higher education, or who are making meaningful contributions in their communities. All graduation years and life paths are welcome.
Please include the following with each submission:
- Graduate name
- District 70 school or schools attended
- Graduation year or years attended
- Current city and state
- Current role, career, or area of focus
- A brief narrative describing their journey and why it reflects the impact of District 70
- Two to four high-quality photos that capture then and now moments
- Memories and advice for current students (optional)
- Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis to ensure representation across schools, years, and experiences. Selected stories will be featured on District 70 social media platforms and on our website.
- Stories may be submitted directly to the Communications Office at lbonfiglio@district70.org.
- Thank you for helping us elevate our shared story in service of our students and community. We are proudly telling our story one success at a time.
