Transportation

Pueblo County School District 70 provides transportation for our students through a third-party provider, First Student Inc. There are places in the district where we do not provide transportation to and from school.  

• At the elementary level, we do not provide morning and afternoon transportation to students who reside within a 1-mile radius of the elementary school.  
• At the middle school level, we do not provide transportation to and from the school to students who live within a 1½ -mile radius of the middle school. 
• High School transportation is based on regional stops.  

It is important to note that generally, bus ridership is a privilege and is available to all students until the students’ conduct on the bus proves otherwise.

District No. 70 does not provide transportation for School of Choice students.

• This includes "Out of District" and "In-District" School of Choice students
  • In some cases parents of School of Choice student(s) may drop their student off at an already established "home school"First Student bus stop.
