Construct writing projects that build knowledge through investigation of a topic; develop questions gather information, cite sources, develop supporting visual, and communicate information
Plan, draft, edit, revise and create a piece of writing to a given prompt
Deliver organized and effective oral presentations for varied purposes and audiences using varied technological resources
Think critically about ideas expressed by others and formulate thoughtful responses

MATH
Transfer an understanding of place value to a variety of contexts including fractions, whole numbers, decimals, measurement

MUSIC
Performs a varied repertoire of music on pitched and non-pitched instruments with some expressive elements in multi-part harmony
Reads and creates melodies and rhythmic patterns in the appropriate clef
Listens to and analyzes music of a varied repertoire including historical and cultural context
Articulates the connection between music and other subjects
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Identify the major characteristics of mature movement and rhythmic skills
