LANGUAGE ARTS

• Use more than one subject to develop writing projects
• Apply digital tools to publish a presentation

MATH

• Analyze and make sense of real world problems in math
• Model and reason with addition and subtraction
• Effectively communicate mathematical thinking using oral or written arguments

 

SCIENCE

• Ask logical questions based on observations of the natural and designed world
• Develop and use models to represent concrete events or design solutions
• Plan and conduct investigations based on tests
• Select appropriate tools to conduct an experiment, use them correctly and report the data in proper units
• Connect observations and experiences to explanations of events and design problems

 

SOCIAL STUDIES

• Design and conduct historical research that are based on questions developed around the local community
• Use geographical tools to draw conclusions about relationships between geographic features and historical events
• Explain issues involving the rights of people historically and currently about power and local authority

 

MUSIC

• Blends in a vocal ensemble
• Performs and accompanies a variety of music
• Relate music to history and culture and a variety of purposes
