LANGUAGE ARTS
- Research several topics and develop writing skills with different subjects, i.e. Math, Science, Social Studies.
- Create a project using digital tools to convey comprehension
- Analyze and think critically about ideas expressed by others through discussion
- Critically read and respond orally and in writing
MATH
- Compute numbers in a whole number system using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with place value relationships, efficient algorithms, and real-world application.
- Construct an understanding of fractions by partitioning numbers, shapes, and the number line
- Analyze and make sense of visual displays to interpret data
- Identify, describe, and measure geometric figures based on their attributes
- Analyze and make sense of real world problems in math and explain process to come to a reasonable result
SCIENCE
- Ask logical questions and uncover problems that include qualitative relationships
- Build, revise, and use simple models to represent scientific problems
- Design and conduct investigations to answer scientific questions solution
- Analyze and explain science data
- Construct multiple explanations and design multiple solutions to scientific problems
